Campaigning for Birmingham Selly Oak

Local Liberal Democrats have selected Dave Radcliffe as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the new Birmingham Selly Oak constituency.

Dave Radcliffe has a record of campaigning for local services, including better kerbside recycling collections. He has also fought against the closure of local post offices by the Labour Government and Royal Mail.

Dave Radcliffe lives locally in Stirchley and works for a Birmingham university. Dave was elected to Birmingham City Council in June 2004 and is one of the 3 Lib Dem councillors for the Selly Oak Ward. He is currently Chair of the City Council's Audit Committee, cracking down on fraud, and ensuring the city gets value for money.

A keen cyclist, Dave enjoys mountain biking and cycling on road. He chairs the City's "Cycling Advisory Group" - which provides a link between Councillors, local cycling groups, and council officers.
