"Action is needed to identify and repair roads damaged by the recent sub-zero temperatures," says Cllr Dave Radcliffe.

"Action is needed to identify and repair roads damaged by the recent sub-zero temperatures," says Lib Dem Councillor Dave Radcliffe (Selly Oak Ward). He has welcomed news that the Council has organised four additional repair crews to carry out urgent repair works and allocated an additional £600,000.

The longest period of sub zero temperatures for 30 years froze water trapped deep inside some road surfaces, causing cracks to open up and potholes to appear.
