Thanks to action by local Lib Dem councillors, rusty road signs in our area will be repainted.

Following action by local councillors, money has been found to start repainting rusty road signs in the Selly Oak Ward. A programme of repainting has now begun.

"Old cast iron street nameplates have character and I know that residents like their own signs," said Councillor Robert Wright (right). "But those that are rusting need to be repainted."

Local Liberal Democrats are working hard across the Selly Oak constituency to clean up our area and tackle problems like graffiti, dumped rubbish, abandoned cars and potholes. You can help our campaign by using the form at www.sellyoak.libdems.org/views/ to tell us about problems.
